Evidence Day 522 Scottish Child Abuse Inquiry

Closing submissions for the City of Edinburgh Council, His Majesty's Chief Inspector of Prisons, the Care Inspectorate, Police Scotland, the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service, and the Scottish Ministers as part of the Phase 8 case study were heard at an Inquiry Hearing on 14 February 2025. 

Evidence was heard from Mr Batchelor for the City of Edinburgh Council, Ms Durkin for His Majesty's Chief Inspector of Prisons, Mr McClure for the Care Inspectorate, Ms Whyte for Police Scotland, Ms Shand for the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service, and Ms O'Neill for the Scottish Ministers.
